Wellness Screenings: Incentives, Outcomes and ROI featuring The Biggest Loser: "Half the Man, Twice the Man"

During the first part of the presentation, Kyle Kauss, Director of Wellness Services at Quest Diagnostics, will engage the audience with an interactive discussion about corporate wellness screenings. He will cite the results of three recently published studies on the topics of Incentives, Outcomes and ROI.
For the second part of the presentation, Bill Germanakos, Winner of Season 4 of "The Biggest Loser", and professional motivational speaker and Wellness Ambassador, will touch upon such factors as Inspiration, Motivation, Education, Dedication and Perspiration as those which are pertinent in the battle against obesity. Goal setting, creating and working a plan and perseverance were all paramount in his endeavor for which he was awarded the first prize on the show, but he also gained a new insight into better health.

Kyle Kauss has been with Quest Diagnostics for nearly two years. He has 15 years of Sales Leadership experience leading teams in various industries including Health and Wellness, Information Management, Outsourcing, Workforce Management and SaaS. During his tenure at Quest, Blueprint for Wellness has grown by nearly 2.5x in overall revenue. Bill Germanakos was the winner of the 4th season of the NBC hit show "The Biggest Loser". At the age of 40, Bill discovered that he was not only classified as morbidly obese, but had seriously high blood pressure and several other health factors which put him at risk for heart disease and other serious conditions. These diagnoses, along with several other compelling factors, were motivation enough for Bill to decide to make important and necessary changes in his life. Bill's mantra on the show was "To Become Half the Man, so that he could be Twice the Man", and standing at 5'8", he went from weighing in at 334 lbs to 170 lbs, losing a total of 164 lbs, or 49.1% of his starting body weight. Now that he has become "Half the Man", Bill strives every day to be "Twice the Man", for himself, in his career and especially for his family, and after having been re-educated about diet and exercise, his goal is to "pay it forward".
