Committees & Volunteer Opportunities

Please note that all volunteers on all committees must be current members of the SHRM-Atlanta chapter.

Serving as a volunteer is a great way to give back to the HR community and to network with your peers.  It is also a great way to use skills you already have or to develop a new skill you need.  SHRM-Atlanta operates with the leadership of a 70+ member volunteer leadership team and with more than 300 volunteers.

The list below describes the various SHRM-Atlanta committees and links to a volunteer contact for each major area.  Some specific committees or volunteer positions have more details if you click on the “learn more” link.

Please contact the appropriate person for each of the areas you are interested in volunteering.  If you are uncertain where you would like to volunteer, please complete this form to get involved in SHRM-Atlanta and sign up for a volunteer committee.

If you click on this link, you will be asked to log into the SHRM-Atlanta website using your member log-in and password.  If you do not remember your login information, please send an email to info@shrmatlanta.org and ask for it to be reset.  The new information will be emailed to you shortly.

Please review the complete list below as it will help you answer the questions on the form.  If you aren’t sure how to answer the questions, just indicate you aren’t sure and would like to discuss with someone.  Once you hit “submit” at the bottom of the form, your information will be emailed to a volunteer on the Volunteer Engagement Committee.

If you contact any of these volunteers, and/or submit your information into this online form, you should hear back from someone within five business days.  If you have not heard back from anyone within the week, please contact any of the following staff:
