Our call for presentations for the 20th Annual SHRM-Atlanta HR Conference is now closed!
Please read all of the information below prior to submitting your online presentation(s). Special consideration will be given if you submit one of the sessions below. Selection process and deadlines are also listed at the bottom of this page.
If you have not yet submitted a speaking proposal using our online form and you do not have a membership or guest account with SHRM-Atlanta, you will need to first create a guest account here. Once you have created your guest account, please log in and complete the online speaker submission form below.
If you have submitted an online speaker proposal in the last year, you can log into your SHRM-Atlanta member or guest account here and then review your submission here. Your prior submission(s) will pre-populate in the form and you can make edits as needed. Please be sure to submit your form once you have made these edits.
Please do not log in to your membership/guest account to submit a presentation for someone else.
Please note that at this point your online submission will be entered into our speaker database and you may be contacted by a SHRM-Atlanta volunteer to speak at various events throughout 2010. SHRM-Atlanta offers 100+ programs per year to our 2,500+ members. Your submission will be considered for the 2010 Spring Assembly and the 20th Annual SHRM-Atlanta Conference as well as various GEM and PEG workshops.

| Track & Session Information |
SHRM-Atlanta is currently looking for presentations that fall into the following tracks. Special consideration will be given if you submit presentations based on the specific topics listed under each track; however, you are not limited to submit only these topics. If your presentation does not match any of these tracks and/or topics, please select "other" on the online submission form.
SHRM-Atlanta members and event attendees request to hear case studies and best practices from HR practitioners either as a panel or as a co-presenter. If you are a vendor to HR practitioners, we recommend that you provide a panel of speakers to include a HR practitioner (a client of yours) or include a HR practitioner as a co-presenter.
Business Acumen & Leadership
These sessions build the business know-how of HR practitioners ranging from the specialist/generalist to the mid-level manager to the seasoned leader. Specialist/generalist and mid-level professionals can select from sessions that develop and enhance their fundamental business “literacy”. Seasoned leaders can learn about the impact of their actions on decision-making and how this in turn affects outcomes at the functional, unit, or corporate level.

Please note that SHRM-Atlanta does not pay speaker fees or travel costs.
The Programming Committee will make their selections for the annual conference between March 15 and April1. If you have not been contacted by April 15, please assume that you were not selected to speak at our 20h Annual SHRM-Atlanta HR Conference on October 18-19, 2010. However, you might be contacted at a different time regarding other SHRM-Atlanta events. Thank you for your submission.
