Nancy Vepraskas serves as President of p2excellence.com, a human capital consulting firm focused on the two differentiators in every business – People and Performance.  The firm emphasizes a holistic approach to business, creating synergy between operating functions and human resources resulting in stronger business results and sustainable growth.  Vepraskas’ work and writing focus on creating strategic alignment in every aspect of work, moving business plans from paper to executable reality.  Vepraskas has served as a senior executive in Fortune 500 organizations as well as smaller companies in healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and retail industries As the chair of the SHRM-Atlanta board, she has helped this 2600 member association develop and implement a strategy focused on building a Atlanta through the development of highly skilled HR leaders and better partnerships between business, government, and professional associations.

Tamara O'Neill
President, Careers on Course

Tamara O’Neill, President of Careers On Course, is a professional consultant and coach who specializes in career transition and leadership development.  In this role, she actively engages with executives to secure new careers. Additionally, Tamara coaches business professionals within organizations to achieve personal and professional success. Her education and training include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Arts, Master of Science Degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. She is a Registered Corporate Coach and certified to administer and interpret the Hogan and DiSC® assessments. She has served SHRM-Atlanta since 2005 in various leadership roles and currently serves as 2010, President-Elect.
 

Kimberly Douglas, SPHR

Kimberly Douglas, SPHR, is President of FireFly Facilitation, a firm specializing in the design and facilitation of high-impact initiatives – from leadership team effectiveness and conflict resolution to business planning and board retreats.  She has facilitated results for over 15 years in a broad cross-section of industries and organizations, including Coca-Cola, AT&T, Home Depot, SunTrust Bank, and the U.S. Marine Corps.  Kimberly is a past president of the 2,500 member Atlanta chapter for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  Under her leadership, the chapter received a Pinnacle Award for its innovative “Lunch with a Leader” program.  She also was selected to serve on the National SHRM Expertise Panel for HR Consulting and Outsourcing.

Laura Lee Gentry is Egon Zehnder’s leading expert in the Southeast on talent and organizations across the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Sectors.  As Managing Partner of EZI Atlanta, Laura Lee manages all of the Firm’s major relationships within the region while also executing client work in Executive Search, Talent and Organizational Assessment and Board of Directors Performance and Recruitment.

 

Michael Grindell
EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, 22 Squared

With executive and management experience spanning more than 20 years, Mike has built an impressive track record leading change management and process improvement initiatives in a variety of business environments. He spent 16 years with The Coca-Cola Company, serving in numerous roles including Director of Human Resources for the firm’s largest global business unit, Group Organization Effectiveness Director for the fountain business, and Director of the talent movement strategy for Coca-Cola North America. Mike has also held positions with Citigroup and Federated Department Stores, adding to the diversity of experience and perspective he brings to his role at 22squared.

Clem Johnson

Clemont “Clem” L. Johnson, is currently the President of HR Business Solutions, LLC, d/b/a as Snelling Staffing Services.  His business matches client companies with potential employees, specializing in areas of light industrial, clerical & professional positions. His expertise enables him to consult with clients on all their HR needs.  Clem brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources.  Prior to starting his current business, Clem served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for OFS (Furukawa Electric Company, formerly Lucent Technologies) for eight years, where he established the HR vision and overall HR strategic direction for nine domestic and international locations, as well as designing and leading corporate-wide change and initiatives.

Gary S. Jones, SPHR

Gary Jones, SPHR, is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Grizzard Communications Group in Atlanta. Prior to joining Grizzard, Gary served as Vice President of Human Resources with Pike Nursery Holding LLC, d/b/a Pike Family Nurseries. Gary has also worked as a management consultant in operations and human resources and was Vice President of Business Services with a national not-for-profit group. He taught as an adjunct professor at Mercer University (Atlanta campus) in the MBA program for nearly ten years and holds a Masters degree in Administration as well as having completed work in the areas of counseling and career assessment.

Tony Robinson

Mr. Robinson represents and advises management clients in connection with all types of labor and employment matters arising under federal and state law, such as Title VII, the ADEA, FLSA, and the Davis-Bacon Act. Mr. Robinson has successfully defended management in state and federal court litigation throughout the country. Besides defending employers in litigation, Mr. Robinson devotes a significant amount of his practice to advising employers about employment and pay policies and practices which foster positive work experiences for employees and lessen the risk of litigation. Mr. Robinson also counsels employers who contract with the federal government about compliance with pay practices associated with government contracts. Mr. Robinson further provides management and employee training for companies throughout the country.

Coretha Rushing

Coretha M. Rushing is Chief Human Resources Officer for Equifax Inc. She was named to this position in May 2006 and has global responsibilities for a Center of Excellence that includes human resources, compensation and benefits, community affairs and special events, and customer and technical training.  Ms. Rushing brings 25 years of human resources experience to Equifax.

From 1996 to 2004, she served in several senior HR functions for The Coca-Cola Company, including Senior Vice President of Human Resource, where she led all human resource functions for the global beverage company, from 2000 to 2004. Since leaving Coca-Cola in 2004, Ms. Rushing had been an executive coach and HR consultant with Atlanta-based Cameron Wesley LLC.

Steve Szafarz is the Human Resources Manager for Cisco’s SciCare™ Services line of business where he is responsible for key talent management processes such as succession and retention planning; HR needs assessments, and performance management.  Steve is also actively involved in merger and acquisition activities; coaches executives, managers and employees on sensitive HR matters; resolves employee relations issues; and leads compensation equity analyses, merit and bonus reviews, and job evaluations.  Steve previously held a similar role where his customers included Scientific-Atlanta’s corporate staff, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Worldwide Customer Service, Worldwide Procurement, Strategic Communications and Atlanta Manufacturing employees.   

 


Jill Wilson
Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Development, Carter's, Inc.

Jill Wilson joined Carter’s in 2009 as Vice President of Human Resources.  In 2010, Ms. Wilson was named Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Development.  Ms. Wilson joined the Company after more than 17 years with The May Company and Macy’s.  While at Macy’s, Ms. Wilson held various Human Resources positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Organizational Development and Divisional Vice President of Human Resources.  Ms. Wilson has extensive experience in a broad range of HR disciplines, including talent management, organizational development, compensation and talent acquisition.

Lily Z. Winsaft founded and manages Aldebaran Associates International, LLC. As CEO and Chief Rainmaker, she has focused her 25 years of experience in leadership, recruiting, business and finance to build a company dedicated to addressing the hiring and training challenges facing corporations and professionals in the 21st Century.  In this role she regularly provides highly selective recruiting and corporate training services for National and International Fortune 500 companies in the advertising, marketing, legal, accounting, information technology and non-profit sectors. A sought-after speaker on subject matters regarding professional and leadership development, women empowerment and entrepreneurship, she is regularly quoted by local, national and online media outlets. Lily is a tireless community leader dedicated to bettering the professional lives of everyone with whom she comes into contact. Liz’s career as an HR leader spans over 18-years in 3 industries with a wide range of responsibilities.   She recently joined the HR leadership team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as Director of HR Technology, where she leads the design, development, implementation and optimization of Human Resources technology systems in support of HR and organizational people strategies.  Children's has been recognized as a premier employer by Fortune magazine, Working Mother magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, a top learning organization by Training Magazine, while ranking among the nation's best pediatric hospitals by Child magazine and U.S. News & World Report.
