The Affordable Care Act – What it Means to Every Employer
Total Rewards Content Area
The Affordable Care Act has significant implications for every employer – both large and small. In our discussion we will discuss the background elements within ACA and review updates to the compliance related aspects of the law. After covering these basics, the focus of our discussion will shift to three primary strategic focus areas for employers: Being Competitive, Being Compliant, and Being Communicative. In short, the purpose of these strategic focus areas (and best practice approaches within each) is to ensure that attendees are prepared to focus not only on their obligations within the law (e.g., compliance), but also on the opportunities inherent in the law to ensure that their organizations are maximally competitive and that employees fully understand the value of the benefit program provided by the employer.
