Winning With Wellness: An Analysis of Best In Class Practices

Employee Wellness Content Area

The case for corporate wellness is typically built around its ability to increase employee productivity,   improve employee health, and reduce health care costs. Study upon study shows the impact that effective corporate wellness programs can make – So why are some workplace wellness programs so successful while others remain ineffective?  This course will examine the essential components of a worksite wellness program – from making the business case, to design, implementation, and program evaluation.  The course will also highlight HIPAA, GINA, ACA, and ADA compliance, as well as new and creative ways to engage the employee and keep programming innovative.  Finally, case studies will be shared through a peer panel with opportunity for group interaction.

Program Objectives:
• Identify best practices for design, implementation and evaluation of a worksite wellness program.
• Differentiate between traditional programming and innovative initiatives, explore strategy, and analyze the newest approach in creating a culture of health and behavior change.
• Review the most effective strategies that will position wellness in a meaningful way and make a lasting impact.
