SHRM-Atlanta’s June Chapter Meeting offers attendees expert advice about new ways to achieve incredible results while inspiring new value. In her TED-style talk, Holly Firestine, an executive team member at Northwestern Benefit Corporation of Georgia, will define value creation as it relates to companies and to employees, and will explore how the perspective of value has shifted throughout the years and across the generations.

    A well rounded business leader who has a passion for Human Resources, Holly brings a unique perspective to strategic human resource practices. She’s worked with teams in the US, Southeast Asia, Colombia and Romania and was awarded Global Engagement Certification in 2015. As a member of the executive team at Northwestern Benefit Corporation of Georgia, she leads all aspects of human resources including recruitment & talent acquisition, corporate culture, integration and onboarding and training and development among other areas. Inspired by her grandma who attended night school and received her Master in Education at age 63, Holly returned to school mid- career in 2014 while working full time and is an Executive MBA candidate. She will receive her advanced degree in May of 2016 from Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. Less than 1% of the population has completed an Ironman Triathlon and Holly is part of that 1%. Training for and finishing the 140.6 mile Ironman race was a life changing event for her and reinforced her belief that anything is possible!
