Charting a Path, Taking Risks and Creating Professional and Personal Value

Leading across cultures is a rewarding and challenging opportunity. Organizations today are looking for individuals who have depth of knowledge of how to go to market in a vast number of countries around the globe but equally as critical is an understanding of the cultural and legal implications of leading HR in a multi-cultural complex environment. Meredith will provide perspective of her journey as an expat leading HR in Asia for a multi-national organization and how this experience is creating value for the organization.

Learning Objectives:
1. Ensure you have a robust development plan that matches with your personal and professional goals. Make it known and during the journey execute in your role(s) at a high level to ensure you are considered for opportunities.
2. Be willing to take risks and stretch yourself. Some of the best opportunities come with many unknowns.
3. When you seize the opportunity, not only create value in the moment but also draw upon the experiences to give back for years to come.
