The FMLA – A Confusing and Complex Law

How often have questions about the FMLA caused you more than a small amount of your valuable time and productive hours due to its complexity? Meeting the requirements of the FMLA while complying with other laws, such as the ADA, can confound employers who seek to understand the oftentimes confusing requirements of multiple laws. Questions emerge when an employee’s condition implicates more than just an FMLA qualifying event. During this webinar, an overview of the regulation and some common misconceptions will be addressed. Come listen to the speaker as she discusses this complex and ever-evolving area of compliance. And leave the session with a more clear understanding of the recommended risk management guidelines for implementation!

Learning Objectives:
1. Improve the understanding of the FMLA and how it relates to other employment laws
2. Review the common problems associated with the law
3. Learn some risk techniques to address your exposure
