The link above is the approved PowerPoint template if you would like to use it for your session. If you make any adjustments to the format of this template, please be sure these changes are approved by SHRM-Atlanta prior to submitting your PowerPoint for review. Please be sure to review your slides in presentation mode before the conference so that you have the proper presentation settings selected.

Hotel Information
Please see the link above if you need to reserve hotel accommodations for the conference. SHRM-Atlanta does not cover any speaker expenses or pay any speaking fees. 

Be a Guest Blogger
Promote your topic and session at the conference via the SHRM-Atlanta blog. We encourage you to submit a guest post highlighting the learning objectives of your session and what the attendees can expect to hear when the attend your session. Please submit this in article format and engage the readers by asking questions or requesting information from them to help you finalize your session and the key points to be discussed.

Registration Instructions

All speakers, co-presenters and panelists receive a complimentary registration to the full two day conference. We will register all of our confirmed speakers so you do not need to register yourself or your co-presenter for the conference. If you have a co-presenter that you have not yet submitted to us, please notify us immediately so we can be sure they are registered and printed in the program book. We encourage all speakers to attend both days and network with the attendees, attend other sessions and visit the exhibit hall. As a speaker you are entitled to all benefits of a regular full conference paid attendee.

Session Logistics

When you arrive onsite, please check in at the registration kiosks. The staff at the desk will be able to direct you to your session room. Please allow plenty of time to arrive onsite. Atlanta traffic can cause delays at any time of the day, so please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your session start time. 

We will be providing in each session room a laptop, an LCD projector, screen, wireless presentation remote and microphone with sound system. Each presenter will be asked to bring their presentation on a USB as a back-up.

If you are planning on bringing any handouts for your session, please anticipate 75 - 100 people per session (if you are in a mega-session room, please bring up to 250). This is a guesstimate of the number of attendees so please bring what you feel is appropriate. 

Attire for the conference is business casual.

We will also be providing the opportunity for you to sell/sign books in the exhibit hall on either day of the conference. You are allowed to sign-up for 1 hour time slots. Please note, you will need to handle all logistics on your own (getting the books there and collecting payments, etc.). If you are interested in this opportunity, please email Tara Zeravsky at tzeravsky@shrmatlanta.org to reserve your date and time.

We also encourage you to post information in the LinkedIn groups you belong to as well as in your personal LinkedIn status. If you have a Facebook page or fanpage, please post information there as well. Please direct people to the conference website.
