"Charles Craig is a humorous, engaging instructor, and he made the material relevant and easy to understand -this was especially important during a 12-week evening class. It was clear that he was very knowledgeable about HR, and was able to readily answer real world questions posed by the students. When I take the SCP test, I will plan to take his class again."- Kari,SHRM-CP

How can obtaining HR Certification benefit your career?

Business is changing and employers are insisting HR professionals adapt to that change. We now live and work in a global economy, where geographic borders are virtually non-existent, and innovation, agility and strategy are critical success factors. The HR profession operates at the core of this global economy, ensuring the alignment of organizational strategy with a high-performing workforce. HR certification is an opportunity for HR professionals to validate their individual expertise and to put knowledge to work through critical thinking and application.

Achieving certification demonstrates relevance, experience, credibility and dedication to staying current with your expertise in HR to your employers, clients, staff members and professional peers. In today’s competitive landscape, many companies now require HR certification for their job applicants.  Additionally, certified HR professionals command higher salaries vs. those uncertified, especially as your career matures. In addition, certified HR professionals achieve greater career success and are awarded more promotions. (1)
