Are You Ready to Pursue Your Certification?

Human resources (HR) certification serves as an acknowledgement of your mastery of core HR principles, skills and competencies that are essential within the HR profession. It also demonstrates relevance, experience, credibility and dedication to HR to your employers, clients, staff members and professional peers. HR certification is the gold standard that is recognized by most employers and other HR professionals.

Presently, there are two organizations that offer professional certifications for HR professionals – The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  For information regarding certifications offered by each body, eligibility requirements, testing windows and preparation materials, please visit the websites listed below.

In order to support HR professionals in their pursuit of HR certification, SHRM-Atlanta offers certification review courses to help prepare for the exams while equipping attendees with the necessary resources to ensure success. The certification review course for HRCI is held in the spring and the course for SHRM is held in the fall. For information about the next course, click here for additional details.
