Dare to Matter: The HR Professional’s Rise to Significance

Today, HR professionals are challenged to Say more, Do more, Be more, and Achieve more than ever before. Organizations need their HR professionals to stand up, stand out, and be a major influence in people’s lives. To do this successfully, it requires that the HR professional embarks on a challenging, unpredictable, and relentless pursuit of significance.

What we’re all searching for, from organizational leadership to the individual employee, is to know with certainty that who we are and what we do matters. It isn’t enough to promote organization, team, and employee success if that isn’t accompanied by a relentless pursuit of significance. At our core, significance is what we desire.

The most effective HR professionals understand that significance is found not just within the job one has but within the person who performs the job. By relentlessly pursuing significance on a personal level, and therefore connecting with others through that same lens of significance, we’re able to create feelings of excitement, connectedness, and fulfillment in everything we do.

This incredibly engaging, humorous, and relevant presentation is designed to inspire, ignite, and educate the attendees as it reveals the six keys to incorporating significance into our personal and professional lives.

Plan Your Dive and Dive your Plan!

Join your fellow SHRM-Atlanta members for a fun and interactive networking exchange before the chapter meeting, beginning at 11 a.m.   In keeping with the aquarium theme, you will learn ‘not to be afraid of the shark’ and how to ‘embrace your fears.’

Arrive early and participate for a chance to win a fully-stocked beach bag or two (2) complimentary passes to the Georgia Aquarium. Learn how to equip yourself with the necessary tools to be bold and courageous in your personal and professional life, own your choices, get out of your comfort zone, and how to be your best self and rise to significance!

See you there!

What if there was a way to know with certainty that who you are and what you do matters? What if you could elevate your performance, become more empowered, increase your confidence, and strengthen your relationships in your personal and professional life? Bestselling author, Pete Smith, reveals the findings of his self-described "obsession" with what it takes to live a life of significance.

FREE Aquarium Admission & Parking ($42 value)
