In today’s complex employment environment, it is imperative that human resources professionals, managers, and supervisors understand the value of maintaining positive employee relations within their organization. The National Labor Relations Board’s interpretations of labor relations laws are constantly changing and it is important for human resource professionals and managers to understand their rights and responsibilities under the law and also the rights of their employees.

The Labor Relations course is designed to provide human resource professionals with a well-rounded understanding of the importance of maintaining positive labor relations.  The course discusses the three main labor statues that make up the National Labor Code, the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, and the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act and what you need to know to avoid your employees seeking representation from a third party. This course outlines the steps in the organizing process, the preventative actions your organization can take to avoid costly organizing efforts, and gives you the tools to prepare your managers to safely navigate labor relations laws in today’s workplace.
