Teela Jackson, thought leader in this field, will also discuss trends on the horizon in talent acquisition and market trends.  She will lead table top discussions on what practitioners are experiencing in talent acquisition and what has worked for them.  Join us for this interactive session!

Teela Jackson

Teela Jackson is Vice President, HR Search with Talent Connections. Teela has been with the firm since 2005 and leads the HR Search Practice.   
In her over 18 years of HR Search experience, Teela has built a reputation as a trusted talent acquisition and execute search partner and leader supporting organizational Human Resources & Talent Acquisition transformations, mergers, acquisitions & divestitures as well as confidential search needs.  Teela effectively partners with senior leadership teams to evaluate and identify key talent to activate people, talent and culture initiatives. With many repeat clients, she has a passion for top talent including established leaders, rising leaders and hard to find talent.  Prior to joining Talent Connections, Teela provided Recruitment expertise for Georgia-Pacific, Turner Broadcasting and CIGNA.  
Teela serves on the SHRM Georgia board and she’s active in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals (ATAP) and SHRM-Atlanta.  She was the first African-American female President of SHRM-Atlanta and served as Board Member for the Brian Jordan Foundation (retired Braves & Falcons player), she’s an alumni honoree of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 (2013) and has volunteered with numerous non-profits. Teela has been featured in various news and media outlets including the AJC, Atlanta Business Chronicle and 11Alive News.  
Teela earned an MBA from Mercer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources from The University of Tennessee - Martin. Teela has called Atlanta home since 2000, she is originally from Nashville, TN.

Can’t make it? Can someone else from your office attend in your place? Substitutions are allowed; however, the non-member rate may apply. To transfer your registration please submit your request via email to info@SHRMAtlanta.org.

Would you like to transfer an upcoming registration from one event to another? Requests for transfers must be made by the event cancellation date, usually seven days prior to the event.

Cancellations must be made by the cancellation deadline for the specific event, usually seven days prior for most events. All cancellations are subject to a minimum $20 administration fee. Some events may have a higher fee, please refer to the individual event page, or to your confirmation email. Cancellations/No-Shows on the date of the event forfeit the entire registration fee. No refunds or transfer of fees will be made after the date of the event.
