With a generationally diverse workforce, it becomes increasingly difficult to approach employee engagement in a manner that is effective and impactful for all. Is it possible to identify a single approach to employee engagement that works for millennials, gen x and baby boomers? How does the generation you identify yourself as belonging to influence how you approach employee engagement? Do all generations in your workforce have the same attitude when it comes to when taking pride in their company, their willingness to refer others and their willingness to put forth extra effort to ensure the success of their organization?

    As an experienced leader in Talent and HR, Booker is a strategic consultant, supporting business operations within multiple industries. He has worked within hospitality, retail and healthcare developing innovative solutions and results driven process within talent acquisition. His background as a former restaurant operator and franchisee of Quiznos Subs has broadened his approach in attracting and selecting talent in today's fast- paced business operations. Driven by his passion to serve others and embrace challenges, Booker is a mentor to college and high school students He is also a volunteer for Boys and Girls Club, First Tee of Atlanta, and SHRM-Atlanta Young Professionals.

    Rod Laughlin, President & CEO of Perimeter Healthcare, LLC

    Rod Laughlin has 35 years of experience in building and operating successful facility-based healthcare companies, including Regency Hospital Co., Charter Medical Corp. and Acadia Healthcare, one of the largest behavioral healthcare companies with a network of 573 facilities in 39 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Currently, Laughlin is President & CEO of Perimeter Healthcare, an integrated behavioral healthcare company focused on creating strong mental health facilities across North America. Rod’s companies have consistently been recognized as Best Places to Work under his leadership.

    Keith D. Jackson, HR Vice President, AT&T

    Keith D. Jackson is Vice President of Human Resources for AT&T, which is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. He is responsible for managing HR functions for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Operations. Keith's background blends HR and sales leadership experience, and he focuses on delivering solutions to a diverse organization. He received his bachelor’s degree in management from Georgia Tech, along with certificates in Economics and History. He was also a participant in the British Studies Program at London University and Queens College in Oxford. He also earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and a graduate certificate of specialization in International Business from Nova Southeastern University. Keith serves in a leadership capacity on a number of boards, including the Human Resource Leadership Forum Atlanta, the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Advisory Board and the Council for Division HR Leaders - The Conference Board.

    As Head of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) at Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), Tamika is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy. In this role, Tamika focuses on aligning MBUSA’s internal and external D&I initiatives, connecting the company to its employees, customers, dealers, and community, and leveraging D&I to drive business outcomes.

Send all cancellation notices via e-mail to Substitutions are allowed, however the non-member rate may apply. If we do not receive a cancellation notice you will be required to pay for this event, even if you are unable to attend.  Registrations on or after the cancellation deadline will not be eligible for refunds.
