Chapter Meeting: The Gift of Gratitude – Tis the Season for the Little Things

Advance Registration Deadline: November 20, 2017

Help SHRM-Atlanta give back to our Atlanta Community - Donate Your Gently Used Professional Attire!

In the spirit of gratitude, we are collecting gently used professional and interview attire at this Chapter Meeting. All donations will be shared with three great Atlanta-based organizations:

  • Dress for Success Atlanta
  • Year Up
  • Nobis Works

Please bring your lightly worn professional attire to share with those in need!

As the holidays approach, many of us take the time to acknowledge what we’re grateful for. Have you ever considered what gratitude is and why it’s so beneficial?

Do you want more from your life?  More happiness?  Better health?  Deeper relationships?  Increased productivity?
Would it surprise you to know that gratitude can help you achieve these things?  Gratitude is about taking the time to acknowledge the good things in our lives and in the world. It is also about acknowledging that others gave us gifts, big and small, to help us achieve the goodness in our lives. Gratitude allows us to celebrate the present and to participate more in life.

Join DeRetta Cole Rhodes, CHRO at The YMCA of Metro Atlanta as she leads our thought and discussion about six ways to create and foster a culture of gratitude, professionally and personally.  'Tis the season for an attitude of gratitude!
