Changes to DEI language, the renaming of national conferences, the use of speakers who relish division, and recent legal outcomes have understandably created frustration and confusion. Those reactions are valid.

Let's be clear: SHRM-Atlanta is an independent organization. We were not consulted on the decisions that have prompted these concerns, and our focus remains on serving the HR professionals who shape workplaces here in Atlanta.

Our values are rooted in inclusion, continual learning, and leadership with integrity. We stand with other chapters affirming their independence and their commitment to supporting local HR practitioners.
